Was he there for Rielly as well?

I want Strome.

6'2'', right-shooting Center
14/15 season - 9GP - 7G - 16A - 23PTS

Or Kylington.

I've accepted the fact we will not be getting one of McDavid, Eichel, or Hanifin.

I also feel like Strome suits us just fine, though he shoots left.

I thought he was a right-shooter until I checked the other day.

I like the size and skill though. How much is he contributing to McDavid's success (& vice versa).

Not 100% sure, but I don't even think they're on the same line. Probably PP time together?

Need an OHL expert to weigh in here.

Strome - Bennett - Monahan - Backlund

That would be some crazy good center depth.

I'm thinking Bennett would make a move to the wing, or Backlund would get dealt for a Dman.

They only play on the PP together, so Strome doesn't really feed off of McDavid, if that is what you are asking.

However, keep in mind that Strome ends up playing easier minutes since McDavid gets all the best checkers and defencemen. I do think Strome probably has inflated stats to a point, but but I also think he is at this point deserving of being ranked in the top 10. Kid has loads of talent, and seems like a great character guy too.

1. Bennett
2. Strome
3. Monahan
4. Colborne

Backlund traded for an organizational need (RW or D)

Red Line Report's latest update:
http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports...port/17696133/

Quote:
We're several weeks into the season now and while the picture is far from clear, it's a little less fuzzy and starting to come into sharper focus. At Red Line Report, we were anticipating that 2015 would bring a terrific draft crop, with a star-studded top end and quality depth through the second round.

Thus far, we're pleased to report that the early season has confirmed that notion for us, and has even brought some positive surprises to further increase our optimism. We'd like to highlight a few those.
Their top 10:

10. Matthew Barzal
9. Jeremy Roy
8. Travis Konecny
7. Pavel Zacha
6. Mitch Marner
5. Paul Bittner
4. Oliver Kylington
3. Noah Hanifin
2. Jack Eichel
1. Connor McDavid

It's would also be a waste. We need an elite top pairing defenceman. Center depth is great and all, but Monahan getting 12 minutes a night would be a waste of an asset. Trade him for d help then at that point

I think Bennett would be easily converted to the wing if need be.

There are some pretty exciting defensive prospects I've never heard of in that article.

Jeremy Roy would be a great pick up for the Flames.
