Happy voting!

Final 8

Almost went Rafikov for talent, but went Joly because they see something there, and he hasn't had time to wilt yet!

Mattson. He gets overlooked, but he's got the frame (6'4", 195 lbs.) and tools (46 points in 25 games in high school, then moved up to the USHL and got 28 points in 55 games). Just has to develop a little at college (University of North Dakota). I'll be following them this year to see what role he gets as a freshman and how he progresses. Still just 19 years old.

Mattson is very intriguing to me as well, and UND is a great program. NCAA seems like the best route for his development.

I am still going with Sveningsson personally, but it is either Mattson or (you will hate this) Rafikov for me next.

Good reasoning...and I don't disagree and I like Mattson...

...but D'Artagnan also has the frame (6'3, 181 lbs but probably 195-200 when he fills out?), and better production (48 points in 66 QMJHL games as a 17 year old, which was 3rd on his team with no one at a point per game for an idea of how young a team it was) and he's that ever-elusive right handed shot right winger. IIRC he is also a superior skater to Mattson.

Plus he's D'artagnan.

Still some great choices to argue over for our 29th best prospect.

Joly, Sveniingsson and the Russians intrigue me, but went with Joly here. I don't see any upside in Carroll, don't think Schneider has a chance with our goaltending pipeline and Mattson didn't score enough against teenagers to have me intrigued.

After Joly and the Russians I don't believe there is an ounce of NHL upside left.

I'll give Sveningsson my vote after those three just because he is the youngest.

Went Joly. I'm somewhat surprised at how low Pollock has gone. What's the deal with him? I really don't know much about him other than he's a former 2nd rounder who's only 21. I know that doesn't mean everything but he's got a better draft pedigree and is younger than Wotherspoon who went way higher. Has he really fallen that much?

Played the entire season in the ECHL. And he didn't stand out down there either. Never a good sign
