I think he was saying those remarks sarcastically, at least thats how I interpreted that.

Nothing personal Duffman, I realize that understanding sarcasm is a learned thing. I have had to teach my daughter to understand when we are being sarcastic, and there are definitely adults who seem to have never really learned it.
Mattis, asked directly about Trump’s criticism of the media, said he has had “some rather contentious times with the press” but considers the institution “a constituency that we deal with.” The defense secretary added: “I don’t have any issues with the press myself.”
Gotta think that statement isn't going to sit well with Trump.
But at what level? There are plenty of people who get through with literacy challenges. None of those have access to the nuclear football.
I've never actually met the guy, and don't have access to that kind of information, so I can't say at what level he reads, but it's pretty obvious that he knows how to do it.
Not exactly a contentious thing to say.
He apparently doesn't like to do it, and it's clear he utterly lacks any sort of curiosity about the world around him and this is a significant concern for everyone, but he knows how to read. That's all I'm saying, in response to earlier suggestions that he can't read.

Ah, thank you for your condescending observation. You're right, I must have the perception of a child, since I didn't see an alt right point made by a commentator on Fox News as sarcasm. Especially since Fox News is so well known for their sarcastic attitudes towards alt right talking points.
My statement as to what's happening in Sweden was in reference to a story that was broadcast on @FoxNews concerning immigrants & Sweden.

There's no violence, but they definitely had some issues for a while just due to volume. They then limited the entry rate and things seem to have improved. But this is worth watching.

It's crazy the number they took in. 200,000 people in a 10 million berson country. That's 2% population growth just from refugees. It's impressive how few problems they have. They have had issues but I think they handled them well and in a non drastic way.
That's like Canada allowing in 600,000 or the US allowing 6 million.
