I was at that game and it was the best game I have ever been to.

Did I miss something here? He hasn't played in two seasons.

Good luck Sarchie! Loved him as a Flame. Dude was freaking ran over by a car. He makes Chuck Norris look like a wuss.

I suppose he's officially retiring now.

Sarich is probably just happy to have escaped that cycling accident a few years ago.

Great player for the Flames, but not a Hartley fan and vice versa which was why he was gone. But battled through countless injuries.

And who could forget Keenan for making him a healthy scratch after 400+ consecutive games.

And of course the hit.

He was a warrior. That word gets thrown around a lot, but he was very much a warrior. Loved the guy when he was here.

Huge Sarich fan even have his name on one of my jerseys. Was in attendance for the hit and that is a moment and a game I'll never forget. Was rocking my Sarich jersey that night and was just going absolutely nuts with everybody else in the sport check zone after it happened. Was at the Edmonton game too when he rocked Taylor hall. He was such a beauty. Just a steady dman for us. Good luck in retirement Corey.

Take it easy Corey, you deserve it. Terrific career, one of my favourite Flames.

I don't have many NHL encounters to tell about, but in my time I've met Corey and his wife, great people and I wish nothing but the best.

I don't know why you would single out Hartley, it was Keenan who ended Sarich's Ironman streak with a healthy scratch.

Warrener even said on air that Iron Mike hated Sarich.

Congrats on a great career and thanks for the memories Sarich.
Warrior is the correct word for him indeed.

Heads up Marleau!

That hit made me a Flames fan. Unreal how badly Marleau got destroyed there

One of the hardest hitters ever to wear a Flames jersey.

Hope he has great success in retirement. He's earned a good one.
