Isn't it Olli Jokinen who has the record for number of teams played for? I thought I remember awhile back that being the case.... But then again I have been known to have a hard time judging reality from my imagination hahaha

Mike Sillinger played for 12 different teams and was traded 9 times, give him the record for teams player with and tying the record for number of times traded.
In terms of Stepniak... good player at a good price. Kind of signing nobody regrets.
