Regardless of his douchbaggery, Hall is still a point a game player and at the same level as Gaudreau. Let's not forget he also endured 6 years straight of pure losing. Eventually most people grow out of their teenager years, even perennial Oilosers

I know he has the most value of the damaged core, but I really didn't think he'd be the firts player the Oilers looked to trade. Thought Yakupov, RNH and Eberle would be the first to go, in that order.
Got to say, fair play to Chiarelli for biting the bullet and getting rid of him. Even if he was returning a late round pick, it would be addition by subtraction. Getting a serviceable d-man back is already good return for him.
