The Wednesday Night Hockey OOT only has eastern conference teams playing.
Both games are intra division games from the Atlantic Division. The superior game
has two teams jockeying for position. The Bruins trying to reclaim first place in the
eastern conference and overall. The Lightning are only four points back of the Leafs
for third place in the division. The inferior game has the Sabres eight points back
of eighth place, while the Senators are playing out the string.

Wow, the Sabres simply did not show up for this game. Lukkonen was awful and the Sabres faint hopes of staying in the playoff race have disappeared.
