Flames Most overated player on the Flames?
Who in your opinion is the most overrated player on the Flames? We all talk about how good and underrated some of our players are but i wanted to make a thread where we talk about players that are not as good as our fellow fans think.

Probably Deryk Engelland. He gives the puck away like the object of the game is to hit the tape of the other team's defensemen.

Monahan is pretty overrated too.

I think Sam may not be the soon to be 1st line elite C that everyone makes him out to be.

I'd be glad to eat crow on that though.

Draisaitl has outperformed him in a 2nd/3rd line center role on the Soilers.

I'd say Freddie Hamilton. Always seeing his name come up in trade rumours for way more than he would fetch, like in the recent 'trade Freddie for Trouba' thread.

I really hope I'm wrong, but at this point, I'd say Sam Bennett. I do understand he's still young so we should definitely preach patience, but the kid has to start learning to adapt better to the NHL, and not pull of some of the Taylor Hall-like junior moves of trying to walk through 3 players with the puck.
