He is 6'5 and a smooth skater.
Everything else will work itself out nicely. He is still young

he is young but gets exposed a lot on the defensive side.... at some point, he is what he is. and that point is coming soon. he plays soft and gets caught out of position a lot.

Whether it be this tread, or the GG System thread, all the folks trying desperately to assign the bulk of the blame to the party they would like to hold responsible.

For the most part, the reasons people are excited to pin the blame to their desired target are always the same. One, People didn't like the move when it was made or became critical of the player at some point, and then they use the current struggles to try and validate their previous opinions, be able to say "see I was right".

Or two, they want to pin the blame on someone, or somewhere that gives them the "least amount" of anxiety (GG system for example). A lot less scary if the coach is the problem, versus all the high paid talent (Gio, Gaudreau and Monahan for example) that we just locked for the next 7 years.

Or finally, it allows them to deflect blame away from their favorite players. For example, I love Johnny, Johnny's sucked so far, but I'll go digging and try and make it seem like someone else has sucked worse cause I don't want to hold my guy accountable.

It's very funny crap across the board.

This so much. Add as well the need to find flaws in Treliving players by posters who were super bummed about Feaster being fired. Their problem has been that Treliving has been pretty competent thus far. So it's like an early Christmas.

This was one of three or four embarrassing threads started way too early in the season by a select group of panicked individuals.

Haha. Can we change the thread title to "The Whoas of Dougie Hamilton" and make it about all the nice plays he's made this season?

On pace for 18 goals and 55 points

..and I wouldn't put it past him to achieve either of those totals
