I always liked him for various roles, he had a very iconic voice.

I really enjoyed his line in The Patriot:

He was a really solid character actor who played a lot of heavies in his time, he was a great villain in one of the police academy movies.

He took a really single dimensional character in Odo in the first year and really owned it as the series went on.

With his and Aaron Eisenberg's death earlier this year its a sad year for Star Trek fans.

I'd forgotten that he was the original Father Mulcahy in the Mash movie as well and was really good in that role.

The interplay between Odo and Quark was one of my favourite things about DS9. Auberjonois really brought personality to what was could've been the token "weird alien" of the show.

I would have loved to have seen a Odd Couple style sitcom starring those 2 characters, they had great comedic timing together.

not a good day for Trek, poor Marina Sirtis's husband died in his sleep last might.
