Saturday, April 29 at Ottawa on CBC, NBC, and TVA Sports 1300h/1:00 pm

Tuesday, May 2 at New York on CBC, NBCSN, and TVA Sports 1700h/5:00 pm
Thursday, May 4 at New York on CBC, NBCSN, and TVA Sports 1730h/5:30 pm

Saturday, May 6 at Ottawa on CBC, NBC, and TVA Sports 1300h/1:00 pm

Tuesday, May 9 at New York (TBA)

*Thursday, May 11 at Ottawa (TBD)

Rangers: 48-28-6, 102 points ​(fourth in the Metropolitan Division and fifth in the eastern conference)
Senators: 44-28-10, 98 points (second in the Atlantic Division and sixth in the eastern conference)


This will be the second time these two teams will play each other in the playoffs. It was five years ago in the first round and the Rangers won 4-3.

I've always really liked the composition of that Senators team. Also, a lot of likeable players. I have them in 6.

I like Ottawa because they are the only Canadian team I would cheer for after the Flames.

I like Ottawa because Craig Anderson deserved a good run.

I like Ottawa because they have Stone and Wideman...both the better ones...

Can they beat NYR? Probably not...lol

Nice to see a Canadian team not named the Oilers make the 2nd round. I will be cheering hard for the Sens but realistically don't think they have a chance. Rags in 5.

The big difference between the Habs and the Sens IMO is that the Sens have a game-breaking skater. The Habs lost that the moment they traded Subban.

All else being equal, the Sens will put up a better fight than the Habs. Either way, this is going the length (7).
