Otherwise they can get lost.
The Leafs cap is fine now. The worries are over. liles can stay.

You are going to be pissed then. The Leaf faithful are like cockroaches, they are everywhere and there are far too many of them.

Stupid wingers for Backlund. I don't understand this decision at all. Backlund has been one of the best players for the Flames all season and has certainly been our best defensive forward by a mile.

Reward his play by putting him on the 4th line with McGrattan and Bouma.

Totally ridiculous.

They have to sign Gardiner, Franson, Phaneuf, and more for next season. They're going to have like $10M to sign 13 players.

Reimer might be tired tonight after playing last night. So they will start their other #1 stud goalie instead.

And the cap is going way up, the Leafs are rich, and Tucker/Armstrong's hits are coming off. They'll be fine.

The Leafs are only effective off the rush. If the Flames stick to their structure and don't try to trade scoring chances they'll be fine.

The Bruins showed last year in the playoffs even playing their worst hockey that the Leafs are easily beaten if you grind them into the ice. The B's didn't even start playing their best until round 2.

The cap isn't going to go up to $80M next season.

The Leafs will need to make some trades, or bring up 550k/year AHLers to full the bottom 6 on forward and bottom pairing on defence.

They proved that? Did you watch the series? The Leafs were skating circles around them. If anything, if was proven the Bruins have trouble with speed.

Ugh, so many greasy people with Leaf jerseys on the streets today. There's nothing more I hate then young people who cheer for other city's teams when they have no personal connection (ie. they are from there). Cheer for your own city, you trend whores.

Why do people put so much into the lineups pre game. McG and Bouma are probably going to get 5 mins, Bouma maybe more tonight. Backlund will probably be up around 12 or more. Backlund will play when he's needed. He'll be on the pp, the pk. 5 on 5 depending on the situation he might be out with any number of wingers.

It's no different then having Butler on the 1st d pairing. He's not playing as many minutes as Wideman.

Things change. He's on the 4th line cause if you write your entire lineup on 1 line it'll confuse people, and they'll have no way to pre judge.

Serious questions, but do people actually think that the lineups before the game can't be changed? That the people say on line 1, aren't allowed to play with players on say, line 3 or 4? If your on line 4 does it mean that you aren't allowed to play more then 8 mins?

For 3 years...
Leafs shooting percentage:
13/14 (present) 12.32%
13 (short season) 11.47%
11/12 (the last full season) 9.78%

The Leafs start the season strong, but when faced with the rigours of a full season ... they fold like a cheap tent.

not to mention kessels raise kicks in next year.

bolland needs a new deal, as do 7 others

reimer will want a raise

phaneuf will be north of 7 million when that deal gets done.

yes...the leafs will be trading at some point sooner rather than later...they have to.
