There would be so much red tape that everybody would collapse due to exhaustion from waiting for anything to happen.
Also in this scenario, you wouldn’t have to wait in ER for 3 days to see a Dr about your recent collapse.

Can you please run federally in Calgary Confederation? I'm not voting for any of the mainstream parties, but feel obligated to show up anyway. I'm really hoping for a Rhino Party type option to make me feel better that day.

I'm so lucky the Rhino Party has been running a candidate in my riding the last couple federal elections. They always get my vote.

That'd be a good way to get pst approved. Push it as an alternative to gst, that the money stays in province, and completely ignore questions about how you'd actually be paying both and not just one or the other. Bam, now you have that many more millions to give your buddies!
Damn, this conservative politician #### is easy

If you don't rebate it to poor people, you have more money to spread around!

My Dad has voted conservative in every election ever. Just registered with the ANDP so he could vote for Nenshi. I never thought I'd see the day

DS and the Alberta UCP are creating Bill 18 so they can politicize post secondary education in Alberta- Minister of Advanced Education even came out and stated she had no idea how 500 million in federal grants were being spent-
A couple of research assistants at UofA were able to compile quite easily- Here's the thread- Just how dumb are these people????

Seriously thinking about initiating a recall petition against Danielle Smith, if anything just to publicly draw attention to us that don't agree with hers and the UCP's tactics.

Presumably one would have to reside in her provincial constituency (Brooks-Medicine Hat) to initiate or sign a recall petition against her. I imagine she's still quite popular in that riding, unfortunately.

These are the sorts of moronic things that happen when you open that Pandora's box of stupid crap.

The constitution.
Municipalities exist at the pleasure of the provinces, they are a creature of statute with no inherent powers other than those delegated to them by the Province.
People want more autonomy in confederation, this is what it looks like.

That's about as illogical as someone representing Brooks-Medicine Hat as an MLA, but living in High River!

I suspect a well timed, and strategic take over of the UPC party apparatus would be easier. 3100 people voted in their board of directors last year. In the grand scheme of political maneuver having 4000 people from all over the province to sign up for membership, then register for their AMG at the last moment before the party sees what is happening, then elect directors that will exploit divisions to rip the party apart, would probably be far easier than to get what 30,000? people in the medicine hat district to recall Smith.
