lol, that dude got crushed on twitter.

Seriously, though....baseball has bench clearing brawls and mound charging melees all the time. How does this guy dare believe that he has a leg to stand on when criticizing the NHL for a line brawl?

he's dumb just relating it directly to baseball

pitchers will intentionally throw the ball at other players from time to time
benches clear and slaps are thrown (plus about 10 guys do the "hold me back" dance)
managers have temper tantrums 5-10 times a year and puff out their chest at an ump

these are regular occurrences in baseball....

Ah yes, baseball. The game so respected it became the first sport voted out of the Summer Olympics in 70 years

It seems that Torts' anger issues date way back to his ACHL days. Take a look at his PIMs in his last year of play. Interesting that it was his last year...

Had to duck out of HF earlier because stupidity was starting to run rampant. Had a great respectful conversation with some 'Nuck fans early in the morning but as it got later in the day the kids started waking up and all hell broke loose. But the stuff some Canucks fans are spouting now is hilarious. Basically Bieksa is a hero who saved a rookie, Torts is a hero for standing up to madman Hartley, Hartley needs to be fined and kicked out of the sport, Malarchuk needs to be sent to jail, McGrattan was going to attack a poor defenseless injured Henrik Sedin. And best of all, anyone who disagrees is an ignorant troll. Jesus tap dancing Christ.
I know we have our fair share of idiotic fans but this is a whole new level.

Needed to get that off my chest

The comments section on the Herald is pretty thick with that sort of thing as well this morning.

Vancouver fans are some of the most fascinating in the entire NHL.

MacDermid, Ferland and Breen must've been punching holes in the wall of the Heat dressing room wishing they were there.

The Heat get back from their roadie this week. The first question I'm going to ask Ward, "who's going to be your starting five for the opening faceoff line brawl against Utica?" See what he says.

Torts is small and has a huge small man syndrome. He's roughly 5'6". I'm 6'2" (yeah, Internet tough guy) and he might come up to my shoulders/chin.

In person hearing fit Torts, in thinking somewhere between 5 and 10 games. They have Sullivan who I think it's an excellent coach (outside of the obvious problem) to step in.

It's the equivalent of a pedo Catholic priest fingerwagging a Anglican minister for looking at porn.

Actually I think he was one of the ones I enjoyed talking too. We still disagreed but it didn't come down to name calling and bashing like most others

I hate both teams... But good on you guys for pissing those gutless Canucks off. I have zero respect for Vancouver. Pukes.

So good job!

Why even bother going over there. Canuck fans are the worst of the worst and everyone knows this. The stupid is strong in canuck fans, sucks cause I have to live here.
