I think it is time to Panic because there is no way that their bullpen can keep up with all the inning they are being forced into pitching.

There is still 85% of the season yet to play ... the Jays are two games below .500 and are 3 games out of the division lead. If you want to panic, that's fine, but I'll refrain from doing so.
Amidst all of the hand-wringing over his performance so far this year, Dickey pitched quite well today. Hopefully Delabar can dig him out of this 2nd and 3rd/1 out jam.

And Jose Bautista hits an RBI infield single in the Top of the 9th to give the Jays a 5-1 lead. The hit gives him a streak of 25 consecutive games reaching base to start the season.

Game was delayed until just now - Bautista hits his 8th home run to give the Jays a 1-0 lead. Guess he didn't mind the later start.

The bullpen is in a very rough stretch. Nothing else the offence can do really, they've been giving the pitchers chances to win on most nights. Up to the bullpen to figure things out. Santos, Cecil, Delabar, Loup especially need to get it sorted.
Brett Lawrie's play lately has been a big positive. Bautista and Cabrera have been incredible.

I haven't been able to get enthusiastic about this team this year. Hangover from last year when they put me to sleep early. Signs that they will do it yet again this year. When do CFL training camps open?

Bases loaded and you don't take a swing? Especially on that 3rd strike, you gotta protect the plate.

Jays were 9-17 after April last year, 12-15 this year, but doesn't seem much better thanks to average pitching and below average bullpen play, and meh from the top offensive guys.
Cabrera and Buehele clearly the bright spots so far.

What a depressing team to watch this year.
2 run lead in the 9th and Santos gives the game away.

Got to love a Closer who can't close.
On a side note 17 Hits tonight is way too many. The Jays need pitching badly!

Well what do you know? Morrow on the DL. Santos out as closer.
This team is a disaster.
