Nice! If you don't mind me asking Roughly how much points did you drop for it? In the 1000's or 100,000's?

I don't recall, I think the entry system was different back then.
I remember calling in for contests as well.

Have won minor things - Black Keys Tiks, Cocacola covert concert tiks, Pig and sausage roasts etc. I typically put in like 3-11 entries for whatever I'm interested in. Nothing major though.

Won a few times
I have entered many but have never won anything big or worth making a big deal about. Saying that I have won free tickets to a few events a couple of times so yes you have a chance to get something. Just keep working at it.

Last year I won the big grand prize trip for two to Boston. Saw the Flames/Briuns and a Celtics game with some spending cash. Pretty awesome reason to horde up some points! That and to have a horseshoe up your ass 
Edit - Since y'all are probably wondering, I dropped about 200k points on it.

I won in 2009 tickets to follow the flames to Florida! Sunrise and Tampa. Was an awesome trip. Don't remember the points spent. The first part was to go to the flames forum at flames central and then won the trip at that!

Back in 2007 when CJAY92 had rock points I literally just used mine to buy a trip to follow the team to Florida. I think I had about 900,000 points and used them in an CJAY auction for tix, flight, hotels, car and cash. It was pretty sweet.
And for some strange coincidence Chris Jericho was in my row in Tampa
