This is the forum for the Calgarypuck GM Connected league for PlayStation 3 users. Use it to keep up to date on league news, the trading block, general discussions, and to schedule matchups.

Gameplay Settings
- Skill Level - All-Star
- Play Style - Normal
- Period Length - 7 Minutes
- Overtime - Continuous OT (With Overtime Loss Point)
- Shootouts - As all games are continuous overtime, there will be no shootouts
- CPU Play - MUST BE ENABLED!
CPU Play Setting
In order to reduce the amount of simmed games occurring, everyone must have their teams set to CPU play enabled; even if you have no difficulty getting your games in. Real life happens, and there may be circumstances where an opponent may have to play against your CPU. Please ensure your rosters are setup properly so the CPU won't over-adjust your team during games that are played by CPU or simulated.
You must, however, make every reasonable attempt to schedule a human vs human game before playing your opponent's CPU. Because schedule advances will be done every Monday morning, CPU games may be initiated on Sunday night.
You may only initiate a game against an opponent's CPU if...
- The other GM explicitly gives you permission to do so
- Or if it's after 1PM Mountain (Calgary) Time on Sunday night, and a human vs human game has not been scheduled
Any GM who...
- Does not enable CPU play on their team
- Plays against a human GM's CPU before 1PM on Sunday without permission from the other GM
WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE LEAGUE!
Advances
- Schedule - Season schedule will be advanced every Monday morning (7 days in real life is equivalent to 2 weeks of the season)
- Game Schedule - Based on the real NHL 2013/14 schedule
- Playing GM's CPU - You must make attempts to schedule a game with the other GM. If you do not receive a response, or if the game is not able to be played in a timely manner, then you may play the CPU after 1:00 pm MST on Sunday afternoon
- Simming - If both users are unable to play the game will be simmed
Transactions- Includes - Trades, signings and waivers
- All transactions must be approved by the Commissioner
- CPU Trades - Trades with CPU teams are strictly prohibited

- Text+/TextPlus App (Apple & Android) - There is a group chat on Text+ for global messages. If you have not yet been invited to the group, you can ask any GM to invite you
- PSN Chatroom - The chatroom on PSN is named Calgarypuck GM League. You'll receive an invite to access it once you join the league. (XMB menu > Friends > Chat Room (Text Only) > Select "Calgarypuck GM League")
Use of Text+
The use of Text+ is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended, in order to simplify the process of scheduling games, or negotiating trades with other teams.

Joining
- League is open to all Calgarypuck members
- Create a Text+ account in the name of your Calgarypuck username or PSN ID
- Post in this thread to join with your PSN ID and Text+ username
- NOTE: Posts in this thread will be archived on a regular basis.
- Registration -
League registration is currently OPEN, as there are teams being controlled by the CPU.
Additional users that want to participate in the league will be added to a 'wait list.' If a GM within a league needs to be replaced, then the user in the highest order in the wait list will receive a notification to join the league if they wish. If they decline, the next in line user will receive the same notification.
To sign up for a vacant GM position (highlighted in red), create a Text+ account in the name of your Calgarypuck username or PSN ID, and then post both your PSN ID and Text+ username in this thread.
NOTE: We do not have all of the required information for some of the GM's, as seen by the "(Unknown)" values below. If your forum name, PSN ID, or Text+ ID is missing, please PM it to me via the forums, or send it to me on Text+.
