Default Flames Blow them out

I will fully admit to wishful thinking: 6-2 Flames. McGrattan pots one.

Does anyone know how many games the Flames have spent in a playoff position in the last 3 years?

Joey Mac will try and prove he is more than a rental, and stand on his head tonight.

4-1 Flames.

GREAT news considering he has a hairline fracture. I just hope he can keep his game up through the injury.

Would love to agree, but lets not hold our breath. He's pretty darn fragile when he's healthy, he's going to be a piece of china playing with an injury.

Send McGrattan on the ice and shadow him the entire game.

Not sure I understand this. So you're saying he's a fragile player to begin with, but when he's playing with an injury he's MORE susceptible to injuries? How does that work? Is there some math formula to this I'm not aware of?

Maybe Begin scratched for Cervenka, maybe not according to Roger Millions Twitter. Not many scouts at this game either.

Yup. A normal body check to Backlund can cause greater damage especially with a hairline fracture than if he wasn't injured at all. Or if he gets tripped up and goes into the boards, the bone is already fragile. Probability goes up for an injury if he's already walking on thin ice.

A soft peach is easier to damage than a normal peach.

Not a fan of Cervenka going back in the lineup if Backlund is playing. Just stick with what has recently worked.

Im happpy they're using all three centers they have tonight. I'm wondering if Cervenka gets those games off just to do extra work out sessions with the trainer.

That's some great commentary: The flames need to let in less goals, and score more.

Wow.
