Very sad.
How long ago did he step away from management.
It feels like I was just watching him as a GM... Or maybe that was as president?

Another claimed by the mighty equalizer that is cancer. He fought a pretty long battle it seems. I recall originally hearing of his diagnosis what, 2-3 years ago?

Always really liked him, Murray seemed to be highly respected by his peers and loved by his players. Sad to see him go.
Get. Regular. Screening.
In the video above and many times in interviews post diagnosis, Murray had expressed he never got a colonoscopy due to feeling healthy, and various other reasons we all sometimes neglect our health. He had the cancer for 7-10 YEARS before it was noticeable, and obviously at that point it was far to late.
Get tested when your first eligible and stay on it.

RIP Bryan. A truly great man taken prematurely by cancer. F$*% Cancer! I truly hope one day we beat this disease.
I am not a doctor - and this only my own view - am not preaching to anyone, but I believe one can dramatically lower their risk of cancer by being careful with their diet - minimizing processed foods, meat and dairy. But not an easy thing to do.
One doctor who advocates diet as a good defence against not just cancer, but heart disease, diabetes etc. uses the term G-bombs for your diet. This stands for greens, beans, onions, mushrooms, berries and seeds.
Again just my view, and I am not an expert, and don't pretend to be one.
