Great look Mangiapane before tracking his own rebound out and saucing an unbelievable pass to the D who got robbed... He's stepping up with Labanc/Sadoway out.

Blackwood with a big save on a delayed penalty... Labanc is back.and took the penalty his first shift back with a crosscheck... Chance to see Mangiapane show his pk magic!

Wow can Mangiapane ever pass... Another tape to tape pass into the slot with strong coverage on both him and the shooter... Robbed.

I loved his power move off the boards whole covered, then his between the defenders legs pass to LaBanc who got a tape to tape cross seam poss to Andersson for a point shot. Awesome awesome play.

I just watched the last handful of minutes of the first. Mangiapane and Andersson look ready to turn pro, just calm and aware. On the other side I like what I see from Day, he would be an intruiging long term project. Way more there than a Wotherspoon or Sieloff, just needs to build a ton of experience.

Mangiapane's cycle move reminded me of Andrew Shaw.

Rasmus is a first rounder talent. Doughty-esque defensive play, using his lower body strength, stick, and skating to backcheck nicely.

Mangiapane will need to work on shortening shifts in the pros.

A Doughty-Eque prospect sounds very intriguing, wonder if that's his upside? If it is, a bit ironic of how both needed to work on their conditioning. If Rasmus can solve those issues, no doubt he'll be a good player for the future.

Ive noticed that too - he also seems to be out every other shift, Hawerchuk is leaning on them heavily but 1 min 5 on 5 shifts definitely wont be a thing in Mangiapane's pro career which i think will suit his motor better.

I don't think Andersson will be the best Dman in the world, which Doughty is. But he can be a top 3 guy like Dougie Hamilton if he hits his ceiling.

Yeah the shift length is crazy when you're used to NHL length shifts. It's one of the things that has stood out the most so far, just been watching since the start of the 2nd

Rasmus outskates everyone, his pace is way ahead of this league... Will be fun/interesting to see how it translates over to the pro game. I really like this pick though, big bodied, fast offensive Dman who skates like Doughty... He will easily be able to eat minutes in the pros. Very intriguing pick, he will be fun to follow.

1-0 as McLeod scores a beauty rebound of a DMB shot. Barrie was controlling play leading up to the go ahead goal here..

I will say that having watched every game so far the shift lengths have been more noticable in game 7 then any other... i think the coach is leaning on the guys that pushed them into the 2nd seed this year.

Penalty coming up to Barrie... Come on Mangiapane shorty for the tie!

Need a third period comeback otherwise Mangiapane/Andersson could be on their way to help the cause in Stockton.

Brett Pollock looks to be done with the Oil Kings shortly, down 5-2 to the Wheat Kings in game 6. Another who might be heading to Stockton shortly.

What an absolute gorgeous goal by the first round MVP for Barrie IMO Justin Scott undressing Sean Day and the goalie. Wow.
