Not to sh*t in your pool OP, but ... Spending a few thousand or more to repaint a 2012 Nissan Rogue that's worth maybe $12K?! That's probably something you should think twice about, as it will hurt the resale of the Rogue (very niche color, going to drive many buyers away when you go to sell and therefore hurt resale value) and generally seems like a crazy thing to do.

Why not sell it and go buy a comparable SUV that comes in a flamboyant paint color you like? It will be a much better quality paint job on a car painted from the factory in the splashy color you like and save you money full cycle (ie: when you go to sell your Maaco-special paint job Rogue in a few years with the flaking paint in a color only 5% of people would like on an SUV).

^if he's plasti-dipping it it can be peeled off for resale.

I have never looked into getting them, but I know there are full body decals you can get instead of getting a new paint job.
