Glad your family is safe.
Hope that this gets under control sooner than later.

That town has been disproportionately nutted this year. Awful.

That's probably the Shell by the Super 8? If so, then the Flying J, the Dennys and the Super 8 are also probably toast.

WestJet and Air Canada have both cancelled the remainder of the day, in and out, for YMM.
WestJet has a 737 stuck up there and they're trying very hard to get it back to Edmonton.

Still looking for something resembling an official tweet regarding the gas station. The highway is for sure blocked going south, but that was confirmed before the tweets about the gas station so I'm not sure at the moment.

Evacuation map right now - pretty much 2/3 of the whole city.
(Spoilered for size)
EDIT: Does this mean they think the fire can cross the Athabasca River? I'm not an expert on the area, but my understanding was that the Athabasca is quite large across - moreso than the Bow here.

CTV Edmonton confirms the McMurray hospital is being evacuated, other credible reports that the hospital is in "serious danger". Notley confirms biggest fire evac in Alberta history. 30,000+

Apparently no more fire fighting resources are being placed between the fire and Fort McMurray due to danger.

Eh, not promoting his dumb ass. It was just the only one I saw at the moment. It's since been retweeted by other people. Mostly I'd like to punt his stupid face.

Aside from Centennial Trailer Park I have not seen any confirmed reports of structures that have been destroyed.

The fire already jumped the Athabasca. It is burning on both sides.

The fire is confirmed to have "reached" Beacon Hill, and I suspect structures have been or will be lost, but I haven't yet seen any report explicitly stating that.
