For giggles, here is what Amazon.com feedback looks like now that both systems have been out for several days:
Xbone Day One Edition
1151 total reviews
26% are 1 star
60% are 5 star (2.3 times 1 star reviews)
PS4 Launch Edition
3707 total reviews
22% are 1 star
67% are 5 stars (2.9 times 1 star reviews)
There are more than 3.2 times the number of reviews on the PS4 - which is interestingly in line with the Thunderdome thread number of roughly 3-4 times. Though the Xbone hasn't been out as long.
Of course, anybody can leave reviews on the site apparently. So whatever these numbers and metrics mean - I wouldn't read too much into them. From most reports at this stage, there are relatively few failures in both "new" generation consoles.
The PS4 has a blue light and the Xbone grinds disks. Still sucks if you get one of these.
