He's young, rich, and doing something he loves. He also loves partying. We've been privy to details throughout the career and let's be honest, this guy loves the party scene.
He's also one hell of a hockey player. Also.. I don't know the guy personally, could be a great, great guy. How can I claim to know? I don't, so I won't.
I think this guy is in an all too familiar position. Money, girls, fame. A lot of us, who've experienced the 'party'.. get this, but we're also not rich as ####. That's why I feel for the guy, regardless, of whether he's in control or possibly out.
I understand the draw either way, it's almost the perfect or most deadly storm, over and done.
Jarret, hope you're just a guy who likes getting wild but isn't in need of it.. but if you're outta control and it's done, I hope you get the help you need.
I'm drunk, so maybe I shouldn't have posted this.. but yeah, whatever.

Given some of the past history of drug abuse and the unfortunate end of some young lives in the NHL .
Find some help Mr. Stoll and get better , cause that #### only leads to worse things
Isn't the "Wet Republic" one of those party pool/bars in Vegas? How the hell do you get busted for coke in a pool? Just umm... I don't know... go underwater for a few seconds... evidence... what evidence?

Had to be pretty blatant about it in Vegas. Plus, not his first rodeo I am sure, having dated Paulina Gretzky, after leaving Rachel Hunter while engaged to her. Certainly liked the Hollywood lifestyle, probably groomed himself in Edmonton by dating the Eskimo cheerleaders. (ok I almost kept a straight face saying that.)
Almost forgot that the Flames drafted him back in the day, and the Flames took Lombardi after "I'm smarter than everyone else and I will show Calgary who is boss" broke the unwritten rule like Lowe likes to do, and took Stoll when he re-entered the draft in 2002.
If Jarret Stoll wants to party, and do drugs then sure go ahead, it's his business. But as an unrestricted free agent this summer, he should know he's cost himself a few dollars, a few suitors and some term most likely. Cocaine aside, he should have exercised much better judgement.

Grant Fuhr is in the Hall of Fame...

I just looked it up, and had forgotten that Fuhr received a conditional one-year suspension for just admitting that he had used cocaine in the past and had received treatment for it. That was later reduced to a little over half the season when he met the conditions for a reduction.
That was 25 years ago, and given out by John Ziegler. It will be curious to see what, if any, punishment Stoll receives from the league.

I wonder if there will be questions about the entire kings organization...
Were there questions about Carter and Richards after the Philly exodus?
I'm sure there is more to come?......
For the record, neither Richards nor Carter have ever been spotted doing anything to indicate any rumors of drug use in Philly was true. The same can't be said of Stoll. This is not a surprise to a lot of people. I do think it's time to give Carter and Richards a break.
