Predators: 47-24-10, 104 points (second in the Central Division and third in the western conference) Blackhawks: 48-28-6, 102 points (third in the Central Division and fourth in the western conference)
Regular-season series: Blackhawks won 3-1-0 (Predators 1-1-2)
Predators are a different animal now. Good luck Chitown, you're done.

Hawks in 5 or 6. If I could choose any team to face in the first round of the playoffs in the West it would be the Predators as they came back down to earth in the last 1/4 of the season. Just not enough overall talent to compete with the Hawks.
You know Nashville hated this too because they're always getting so many Hawks fans in Nashville. This will be a quick series I think, 5 games for Chicago tops.

Almost all teams on the upswing have these kind of fans...for myself, I am irritated by LA fans that have come out of the woodwork the passed few years...

The following is a response to a PM, inquiring on Kane and the 'Hawk D...

Thanks
Dion...Kane is skating with the team in a "no-contact" jersey, and practicing slap shots and one timers, but, is not looking to be ready for the Predator series. Reports have his stickhandling to be very good.
On the Defense, Oduya has been much improved, since returning from injury...but, Q had split up Seabrook and Keith, to try to help Rozival and Timonen, who both have been TERRIBLE...Rundblad has been equally AWFUL, especially in his own end...I look for Q to basically shorten the roster and give very limited minutes to the 3rd pair...Crawford has played his best hockey over the last 3 weeks, to steal some points, but the 3rd pair is a huge concern for Chi fans.
