The Flames schedule was pretty bad this last year. I especially didn't like all the games against the Eastern teams over the last three to four weeks.
The 2010/11 was a good finishing schedule for the Flames.

I thought the schedule last year was far more interesting. We got to see every team in the league once. The best part was not 4 games against Minnesota, 4 games against Edmonton, 4 games against Vancouver....

Best in a decade by far, if only because we only played Minnesota once. Plus the variety in the schedule was a welcome change.

The four home games against division rivals happened for three seasons, 2005 to 2008. Having every team visit will happen for this upcoming season.

I thought for sure we would have thrown Glens Falls a bone with a pre-season game.

The entire league schedule will be released at 1400h tomorrow!
https://twitter.com/SanJoseSharks/st...27174042685440
Looking at the home openers, Rogers four regional channels will have a doubleheader with the Habs at Leafs and Canucks at Flames. Sportsnet 360 will probably simulcast the NBCSN doubleheader, Flyers at Bruins and Sharks at Kings.

It will be nice if the Flames can embarrass the Oilers in their home opener. All the Oiler fans that think this is the year will go home with a reality check.

They don't mind. It's one loss closer to drafting 1st overall.

Lots of longer road trips in there. Looks like one seven game trip during the Brier, a six game trip right at the start and three five game trips as well.
If I didn't have tix for the Brier that would make a good fan trip - three New York/New Jersey plus Philly in a week.
