I hope it doesn't get to OT then because I don't have the NHL Network. It's dumb to have NHL Network if you have Center Ice.

This is a surprise as the Flames-Canucks opening game will not be a CBC simulcast in the USA. "Chris Cuthbert (play-by-play) and Bret Hedican (Inside-the-Glass analyst) will call the action from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, B.C."

Cuthbert tweeted that he'll be calling games in each of the five Canadian cities in the first round. That will be a lot of travel for him.

If you have a cable package with NBCSN, you should be able to use the NBC Sports Live Extra Streaming service if there's an overlap. From the NBCSN press release today:

Quote:
All Stanley Cup Playoff games will be presented on NBC, NBCSN, USA Network, CNBC and NHL Network. NBC Sports Live Extra – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets – will provide streaming coverage of games airing on NBC, NBCSN, USA Network and CNBC via “TV Everywhere.”

It is a quadruplet header today. The Nashville-Chicago has its own time of 1800h Mountain. The other games make for a tripleheader which began an hour earlier than normal. All of you in the Mountain time zone get a Pacific time schedule with the first game at 1300h and then at 1600h and 1900h.

Commentators for the games.
