Red is a colour...often misunderstood

I do not care if you wear a blank red t-shirt, a red clown shirt or cover yourself in your own blood.

I want every breathing person in the Dome to wear RED! And if you fail to, you will be booed more than Shark fans.

Not white, not beige, not black, not green, not blue, not purple, not teal, not orange..

And what is with those people wearing white cowboy hats or white baseball caps? Even if they wear some red jersey or Tshirt, when the TV shows the view from above, you see all those white hats sticking out like white neon lites.

There were two guys who sat in front of us - one in a grey/green hoody and the other in a white t-shirt. We heckled them mercilessly. I think they may have been annoyed with us girls by the end of the first. By the end of the second, I'm pretty sure we could of made them cry. I figure that we've fixed the problem for the next time they visit the dome.

They should ban thundersticks and hand out red towels instead. That way, for those who arrive ill-equipped colour-wise, they can at least wear them like a bib and blend in a little better.

Give our boys the home ice advantage they deserve.
Be loud all game, not just on scoring chances and do not sell your tickets to Canuck fans regardless of what $ you can get for the tix.

BUMP failed. Still too much non-red at the dome, and I don't mean Canuck jerseys.

-To the guy in the business suit and woman in the black dress: you're at a FLAMES game, not an after-work cocktail party. Wear red at the dome.
-To the people wearing grey/black shirts with Flames logos on it. You're getting closer. Wear red at the dome.
-To the girls wearing white Flames jerseys: save those for when the Flames are on the road. Wear red at the dome.

I love that the Ducks gave out orange t-shirts at their games, and there was still more red in the Dome than Orange in Anaheim.

But the Flames are 19-1-3 this season when I've worn the heritage one and 1-0-0 in the playoffs. All my other jerseys are 2-11-1....

Normally I'd be all for wearing red, but I can't do that.

No. This is the prototypical misunderstanding of the colour RED.

Having the entire arena decked out in the same colour creates a tangible form of intimidation for the opposition and the few of their fans that managed to get tickets.

Saying the jersey you wear has a tangible effect on the outcome is speculative at best, imaginary and childish at worst.

Support the C of Red. Wear RED.

Ugh at least you guys can wear jerseys.

I didn't wear my Jersey on game day for the clinching LA game and now I'm superstitious that I can't wear a jersey on game day. So far it's worked. Wore a jersey to the game in Vancouver and we lost. Didn't wear a jersey on game day for the other 2 games (plus LA clincher) and we won.
