The Calgary Flames are proud to announce captain Mark Giordano as the club’s nominee for the 2014-15 NHL Foundation Player Award and the King Clancy Memorial Trophy.
The NHL Foundation Player Award is designed to promote the charitable efforts of current NHL players and to reward the player that best exemplifies a commitment to the community in which he lives. Giordano is also nominated for the 2014-2015 King Clancy Memorial Trophy that is awarded to the player that best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy contribution in his community as voted on by his teammates.
