On most nights, if Kipper can see it, it's not going in. Sometimes he lets a bad one in, but so does everyone else.

So here are two teams that both need a win to convince themselves that they are turning things around. Should be a great game!

You would think so, I wouldn't plan on it though

One thing we will all notice tonight is the massive difference in rebound control between kipper and the thirty other goalies we tried while he was out. Kipper is so good at kicking them where he wants you wouldn't notice until someone else played net in a Flames jersey. He is an artist in the regard. Glad to see him back!

I'm thinking Kipper's going to be a bit shaky in his return, but the Flames ultimately bail him out.
Iggy stays hot and get two goals. 5-4 Flames. Sven gets his first goal of the year.

There is no doubt that will be the case. One thing I notice about all our backups is that they look like there playing a molebash game when they are trying to cover the puck.

In the spirit of Kiprusoff coming back, interesting to see that Kiprusoff has the lowest save % of all 4 Flames goalies this year; all 4 goalies have a GAA of 3.00-3.50.

Quoted for truth. I never really appreciated his rebound control until I saw Irving play live. Night and day difference. Kipper makes it look so easy, and that makes me feel good inside.

Marleau scores his 400th early, but Flames spoil the celebration. 4-2 for the good guys.

That is a reflection of him playing the start of the season, which few on this team seemed overly prepared for, with the shortened camp, poor conditioning, etc.

3-1 Flames. They deny Marleau his 400th, Iggy, Sven and Huds with the goals. Kipper stands on his head, Kipprusoffarians rejoice.

player about to reach a milestone achievement?
Yes it's going to happen, it always happens against the flames. Only rookies without a goal on sj right now? you know they are going to score too.

Sven has his breakout game with 2 goals and an assist, Bouw and Iggy with the other 2. Flames win 4-2
