Default Kane vs. Kadri - Battle of Alberta

Nazem Kadri and Evander Kane have unfinished business that could re-ignite Battle of Alberta — even without Tkachuk and Kassian.

I just wanna see Kane go berserk, make enemies with every one again and erode his locker room from the inside.

There are so many abrasive personalities in that room you just sense that it's only a matter of time.

Perhaps some adversity under the ventriloquist doll will set things in motion.

Discipline play is all I want from Kadri. I know he's a tenacious, truculent player with a sharp edge but man I love having a guy like that on the team albeit it's a little nerve jolting when he does dumb dumb things.
It's gonna be just like Bennett all over again ....I see it, anticipate it but will try and dumb down my own emotions when it happens .

I do hope he has the ability to draw in his team mates when needed but I also don't think that's his job either . If it takes special preparation to get motivated playing the Grease boy we're in trouble.

I just want to see us curbstomp Edmontons mouths and put great big crocodile tears in Woodcrofts eyes when he realizes they just got lucky last year and then he can wipe that entitled, schmarmy, scummy , smart-ass look of his face.

Time to knock them down many notches. We have unfinished business and they're just a small bump in the road AFAIC.

Go Flames . Good write up.

Yep, the big difference between the two players is that Kane is much more likely, even perhaps guaranteed in time, to have his velour track suit ruined.

And
Thanks again for the good writeups Steve

the Flames gifting Oilers powerplays by getting to involved in extra curriculars is a part of the reason they lost in the playoffs. The Flames will beat them with disciplined team play.

I think it's an insult to the character of Kadri to compare him to Kane in any way - even in within the vacuum of on-ice antics.

Kadri can wind em up and Looch can knock em down.
Gonna miss Gudbranson's face punching a bit though.

Every time I see this somewhere, it's been on a few different outlets, I forget the Oilers have Evander Kane and think theyve traded for Patrick Kane, and my heart literally stops.

Can we be like, Kadri vs E. Kane?
