So I guess technically they're building.

Does the DH on Markstrom's DH Ranch hat stand for Dougie Hamilton

Well the three guys with the most noise around them all had good games. Have to respect guys like Tanev and Hanifin for still contributing to this team in a big way even though they won't be here shortly.

Hard to see why Sutter didn’t like Rooney.

Also, I like Huska. I’ve said it.

IIRC, they have won far more playoff games than we have in recent times.

Yes, this makes me really dislike Lindholm. It's clearly that he has mailed it in and couldn't care less about winning.

A couple of Nashville losses paired with a couple of Flames wins and then I'll say this. Not quite yet.

And we all know what's coming soon..

Stupid Perds making a run again just to waste 8 days.

It feels like we’ve been Jekyll and Hyde forever, even last year blowing tires against Chicago and other bottom dwellers cost us playoffs. It’s maddening and fascinating all at once.

That's not exactly a high bar but they are on their way to missing the playoffs for the 7th straight season.

The Flames at least have two 100+ point seasons in that time.

Lindholms farewell post was pretty weak. Haven't heard much from him since he got traded unless I'm missing something.

He mailed it in, and seemed upset with the team.

That one never made sense to me because he seemed like a Sutter guy.

Rooney had a pretty good training camp (surprised a lot of us in camp I remember).

Was good the first handful of games of the season.

But was scapegoated for a goal against in the game against the Oilers (the goal where McDavid beat everyone down the ice and Markstrom let in a soft goal on a shot from the wall that was a game winner), and then never got out of Sutter's dog house after that.

Lindholm has the emotional range of a 2x4. Love the player but he has always been a bit of a brick.

I think he was upset that the Flames won't meet his salary demand and then just like that, they gave Huberdeau a $10+ M contract.

This is why Noah and Chris will have a lot more respect from me as former Flames.

They were/are consummate pros through the whole thing.

Huberdeau is shaking and baking out there more and more. Looks like his confidence is really coming back. Great to see, and makes for a great redemption story for him.
