The video confirmed your suspicions "Of course we're using glass containers because plastic is toxic." Ha ha.

there used to be a similar setup just outside of Cambridge Ontario - government eventually shut it down.

the spring was right off of a rail trail. great spot to fuill up the old water bottle in the days before I owned a camelback type thing.

Squirrels can burn in eternal pits of fiery hell. My dad was a bit kinder, even though they were living in our house. He just trapped them and relocated them to a location that wasn't inside our walls.

Beaver fever? Worth it for the rocks in my water. Precious microscopic rocks. Giver of life.

Haha, agreed. The OP needs to thread title properly.

Calgary water is pretty good but there are definitely other places with better water. New York City for example has excellent water which is supposedly one of the reasons for their great tasting pizza and bagels. Also, the best water I've ever had was probably in Switzerland.

Jesus what is wrong with my palate, I can't tell the different between waters, excluding those that are carbonated/flavoured.

Not enough Poisons.

They're what give it that extra 'je-ne-sais-quois.'

After that video in the OP plays, the next to auto-play is a David Wolfe one where he's at that exact same spot. Gross.

Personally I had no idea that this place existed and I guess its just off the highway and has the piping that brings the water straight from the mountain and is quite popular with people looking for spring water.

Just wondering if anybody has experienced this place? Any tips or info I should be aware of? I tried doing a little search online but I couldn't find anything directly from the Town of Canmore confirming the safety of the water or other information about its mineral content etc.

Any info would be appreciated as I drive out there frequently and would be willing to try it out if it was in fact approved potable water.

Thanks!

Here is a quick video some people have posted

If you're dumb enough to do this you might as well go catch a beaver and lick its bum hole.

Lol, I get my house water from a spring and spent 1200$ for a step down filtration system and a UV sterilizer. The people who go get this water are dumb. Sure it's fine to drink most of the time but when a dead deer is laying upstream you're gonna have a bad time.

Edit: Also you shouldn't reuse those water jugs. God damn people have enough time to google streams for water but won't google if it's safe to gather/drink it.
