What is wrong with Mallory's voice this season?! Voice cancer?
EDIT: All their voices! I can't figure out what's wrong but it's wrong.

Lana's voice is the second one I hear a difference with, especially right at the beginning of this episode.
At one point I wondered if they were slowing the show down so the voices were shifted down a bit, but it's maybe just the lower frequencies are more clear.
Maybe they are using mics with a very different frequency response this year.
