Reinhart with a great chance and then draws a penalty.
4 on 4 for :03, then go to the PP.
...it's the Max Power show again tonight.

Reinhart is on fire since Ward put that line together. Great to see.

1st period interview is with Max Power himself. Highlights from the interview:
- GR overtook them last night, but liked the way they battled back
- Credits both goalies for a great shootout, pucks weren't going behind them.
- Cannot scout a shootout too much, but you pick up goalie tendencies on the bench. GR goalie was good
- Happy to be back home, good practices in the gym. Guys came out more fresh.
- Chemistry between him and Sven on that beauty pass was on the fly, did not discuss that move on the bench
- Has good chemistry with Sven, good friends with him, roommate on the road, calls him the best player he's played with based on skill
- Thinks Sven is just getting going. Talented player and thinks he has his confidence back now and feel back and he's getting going now
- Started at center, finished on wing in the game, messes up chemistry a bit but was able to find his place and it was a good test for the lines to be changed up a bit
- Guys are concerned about trade deadline, but know that the Flames are expected to be big movers and hearing rumours. Will have to wait and see.

Just wondering, because the volume of the music is a common complaint. It's like the sound guy doesn't realize it's a smaller building. He's playing the music like it's an NHL arena.
Regarding Sven, I've just come to terms with the fact that Sven will compete hard, but will almost always get knocked off the puck. He needs to get A LOT stronger.
|
I don't think Sven will ever get the muscle of a St. Louis or even a Cammallari but if he can learn to win battles like Hudler, he should be okay. He was coming back into the defensive zone, so he is making an effort and he was maybe the most skilled skater on the ice.
About the music, I don't go out much and I thought I must be an old man, and the loud music was just the way it is these days and half the youth are now partially deaf. Anyways it was aggravating, maybe they are trying too hard.
yeah, first game, I had to come into town so I arranged it so I could make it to a game.

Goaltending change for the Griffins to start the second as well.
In Flames news, Westgarth has left the game with a suspected concussion. If he's out, might see another callup. Probably has to be Reinhart at this point.

As much I can appreciate the reference, that signature is too big. I don't wanna look at that on every post, lol.
