Place to Order Pizza From for a Party
Hey all,
Maybe a strange question, but we're looking to order bunch of pizzas for a party (for adults). Any ideas on a good spot to order from?
Location: In SW, preferably in area within a reasonable distance to Sarcee/Glenmore area (if that makes sense).
Thanks

Greckos or Spiro's would be my first choice.

I had a party last year where I ordered from basically every chain. Couple from 73, couple from Chicago Deep Dish, couple from BPs, couple from Papa John's, etc. It was kind of fun and went over well.

What are you looking for? Price? Quality? Reliability?
Also, how many pizzas are you looking to order? Many places will work out a deal for a large order; however it depends on the size of the order and the timing. An order of 20 pizzas for a Friday at 6:00 won't get you as good a deal as Sunday at 7:00- because that Friday hour is their peak business. Many places can't handle that much of an increase in volume.

I second Canadian Pizza Unlimited -- it's fantastic. Highly recommended.

Rio thin crust is awesome. Without all the crust you can eat a lot more so it's expensive but worth it. Regular crust is pretty good too.

I hear ya. It's for a Saturday evening.
Enough for ~20 adults.
Looking for quality pizza.
Appreciate the recommendations so far!

Not sure if their 20 ave/4 st SW location is open yet, but if it is, this place is awesome:
http://www.blazepizza.com/
For group orders you can set it up so all the guests at your party are emailed and can "build their own" pizza -- adding it to your total order.
It's very good and 100% customizable, as many toppings as you want for one price.

Sammy's. It's not cheap, but the quality beats pretty much any other suburban delivery pizza I've had in the city. We get it any time we order pizza with friends over, and everyone always remarks on how good it is. They have a couple locations in the SW now, but I'm not sure if Sarcee/Glenmore is in their range.
If they're not in range, I'll second the recommendation for Volo's. It was our go-to place when we lived in Killarney.

I actually don't like their thin crust, which is odd because it seems that most people love it, but their regular crust pizza is fantastic.

I live in this area and my suggestion is Sophie's.

Great pie, but not cheap. If you're ordering a lot, maybe they'll give you a discount?
You could try Howie's which is up 45th Street at about 26th ave SW. Only ordered from there once and it was ok. The place is a hole-in-the wall though.
There's Vern's too which is just off 17th by 37th Street.
There is a Famoso in Westhills by the theatre too, if you want thin crust.

Bella Roma is not close to Hanni's. IMO, Hanni's is much better. Thought Sophie's was terrible.
