Default Little Help - Glass Repair

So this evening I was hanging a jolly jumper in the doorway to our bedroom. I didn't realize my wife had a little glass picture hanging inside our room above the door. I inadvertently knocked it down and it broke on the floor.

She seems really upset that it's broken (but understands accidents happen).

How do I fix this?

Is there someone I can take it to? Is there a glue I can use?

Have a new piece of glass cut for the picture?
Have a new piece of clear plastic cut for the picture?

Gluing that much glass together makes no sense.

It looks like a framed doily. Is it a framed doily? If it's framed you could just take it to a framer. They can repair it with new glass while protecting the doily if that's what it is.

The doily is imprinted onto the glass. Which just complicates the issue.

with something moderately expensive, flowers or chocolates and a nice silk scarf should do.

You're going to have to learn how to knit doilies.

Take a high res photo. Take it into photoshop and edit out the cracks and reflections. Print it out. Put it in a new frame. Hang it up high again. Pretend it's the original.

Profit?

I've got a doily maker I could try getting in touch with who could make a new doily exactly like that one. It would be risky. And there would be no guarantees. But it's worth a shot. {seriously}

Throw it out, feign ignorance to its whereabouts or circumstances.

Why were you hanging a jolly jumper at my Ukrainian grandmother's house?
