Hi Keith,
I had AC installed last year on one of my furnaces, the one that serves my 2nd floor. We're having issues with the unit actually cooling the upstairs as it seems to run for at least an hour just to cool by 1.5 degrees. I think it has to do with the location of my thermostat, it's right at the top of the stairs where it's open to below and I think alot of the heat from my main floor makes it way up to that location and therefore taking forever to cool that part of the upstairs.
What would be involved with putting in a new thermostat that would sense the temperature in my bedroom and not in its current location?
What kind of cost am I looking at?
Thanks,
Scoop
