I prefer the assorted because it has pate, no cheese.

I had some tonight. It was delicious. I don't think I've had better fried chicken in Calgary. The beans & corn, biscuits and gravy were also great.

The only gripe I have is with the price. We got two 3 piece dinners with a couple of biscuits, and gravy. It was $35. I can get a 12 piece dinner for less than that at Chicken On The Way. Cluck n Cleaver is so much better though, so I guess I'm going have to "eat" the cost.

I went around five and there were a few people in line. It only took a few minutes to get my food. It's a small space though (with no seating) and it wasn't obvious who had ordered and who was waiting to. They could use a sign telling people to line up on the left to order.

Next trip I'm going to try the rotisserie chicken. I hope it's as good as the fried.

I have found Smugglers steaks pretty bad every single time. That said, I like it for lunch - good burgers and the unlimited soup/salad is great - I usually just take the burger home.
Word of warning - do not try the Chop steakhouse at Chinook. We went because of a GC. The worst steak ever - I think they boiled my filet.

What is your guy's opinion on Vero Bistro? I walk past it everyday. Looks sort of hole in the wallish but is claimed to be a top restaurant?

for Thai food, try Jackies Thai in Eau Claire. Cheap fast food Thai, but some of the best. I hate rice normally, but their rice is seriously good.

Had lunch there a while ago. Nothing earth-shattering, but solid.

Meal was ok - but it came with food poisoning.

Wouldn't go back.

Go to Niko's instead.

Oh my goodness, this place is so good. I've been going for walks around the pathways and stopping at Jackie's on the way back to my office to pick up lunch - therefore completely negating the walk before. I just can't get enough of it.

$40 USD when the dollar was at par! Enough for a single entree at Model Milk.
