Too hot for me. Couldn't get a reservation for the night I wanted. Hope to get a chance to go soon.

We wandered in and sat at the bar.

So I went to Kama Saturday and it was good. I was really impressed with the service, they care a lot that your enjoying yourself.

Food was overall good, but wasn’t excellent. I liked the croquettes, sablefish dish, the zanzatar chicken, the melon dish, the cookies for desert was neat. They were all good. The steak dish was a flop, way too small to share and my piece was not good. The gnocchi was tasty but overcooked and had zero density.

That is probably my biggest criticism. The plates are expensive and very small. Like not enough for a table of 4 to share properly. We spent over $400 and we all left a little hungry.

I am going to try again in the summer after they have time to adjust. Its got potential but I am not sure if it up there with the top restaurants in Calgary yet. We all gave it 7.5/10.

was also there Saturday with a table of 4. we didn't go heavy on drinks (just 3 cocktails) and didn't get anything from the meat section of the menu, but left pretty stuffed for about $200. everything ranged from not bad to really tasty, though salt was definitely the star ingredient, and I think the staff know it because they were super quick with water refills the whole time.

while the water service was appreciated, we did get one surprise carafe of eurofizz, which is just about the least refreshing thing in the world when you need to wash down salt. I very nearly pulled a Ted Lasso.

We had to cancel our Saturday reservation for Kama, but based on some of the reviews (here and elsewhere), maybe I'll look for something a couple months out and let them get everything dialed in a little more.

There's a relatively new Indian restaurant on centre street north called Deepaks, pretty tasty. A bit more coconuty than the Indian food we usually get, and not overpoweringly spicy. Their naan bread was very bland, dense, and awful though.

I went with family to Jonas Restaurant for some goulash, chicken paprikash, and cabbage rolls. I am so stuffed I might die, but at least I'll be happy.

Jonas is fantastic. Very unrated restaurant in Calgary. It was a regular lunch spot for me back in the day.

Looking for a place with the hottest wings in Calgary. Any suggestions? Taste is irrelevant as a friend lost a bet and now I get to pick where he eats these wings.

Juliet's Castle? But most places will make really hot wings if you ask them to.

Leopolds tavern in Bowness uses one of the Dave's Hot Sauces which are pretty ridiculous.

The Bull and Finch has/had wings that you had to sign a waiver to eat. Not sure if it still exists but I've heard they are pretty brutal.

Is this a bet regarding the Flames loss last night?

Are we sure we want to help Weitz torture a Flames fan?

Hot wings don't even compare to the suffering a Flames fan experiences.

Richmond pub has really hot wings but only on Tuesday's

Could also go to Flirty Bird or Burning Bird and get their hottest Nashville chicken sandwich.

Places that use capiscum extract (like Dave's Insanity) are cheating (not to mention endangering health), even wings advertised as super hot should be made with natural ingredients. Don't do it - wouldn't you feel bad if your friend has a heart attack eating wings you have to sign a waiver for.
