Default April 20 with four playoff games.

There are a pair of games where teams are on the brink of elimination and another pair that begin a best of three. Will the brooms come out tonight in Nashville, Tennessee?

After twenty minutes

The Habs lead 2-1.

The Penguins lead 1-0 Great action as the BJs hae the edge in shots, 15-12. Kessel scored on the power play.

Is it wrong that I hope Nashville wins just so the Flames aren't the only team to get swept?

Hardly. It would be sweet to have the Hawks depart in four straight.

This Rangers/Canadians series has been fun to watch - great intensity, physical, good goaltending and just back and forth. Anyone else enjoying this?

I am and I concur, this is a terrific series. Skeji scores with 92 seconds left in the second period on a scramble in front of the net as three Habs were focused on Nash. It is 2-2 after forty minutes and I smell overtime.

Yep, I'm watching it. I'm torn between wanting the Rangers to win for pool reasons and desperately wanting a Preds / Habs final, to see PK standing with his foot on the corpse of Marc Bergevin, the Stanley Cup in one hand and the Conn Smythe in the other, with the spent bodies of Shea Weber and Geoff Molson sprawled on the ice around him as the bell centre chants his name.

The Blackhawks-Predators are scoreless after one period. Chicago killed off two penalties.

If he does, it will be really interesting to see what they do with their goaltending situation.

You have to think they'll still want to go with Murray moving forward since he's a decade younger and $2 million a year cheaper, but they might actually be able to get a premium return for Fleury.

Don't see a team in the East that will beat the Penguins four times.

Watching that playoff OT goal montage and seeing them all be nice goals and then seeing Elliott's garbage hurts

Yeah, but the old "GM is desperate so we'll hose 'em" is more of a fan myth than anything.

The fact that other GM's know his situation only matters if there's minimal interest. If for example, four teams see him play this playoffs and decide that's the goalie they want to get this offseason than their GM will likely get a great return.

I still think Washington could do it.
