They absolutely do. The WHL teams send out questionnaires and you have to put your shoe size and parent size on them. If the mom is Venus Williams the scouts panties get moist.
LOL, that's is too hilarious! When I was in university and failed my math mid-term, I was devastated! Then, my uncle asked me if my mark is greater than my shoe size. I was like, WTF? What does shoe size have to do with my mark? He told me that it's likely on a bell curve and I would likely pass the course if my grade on the mid-term is way greater than my shoe size. LOL. Guess that applies to height as well
Failing a top 2 lottery pick, I want Tij the most out of all the available players in the range. I just feel like Iginla will be the best player from this draft. We can bottom out more if we don't pick a center and get a good Center or D man in the next few drafts.
Really doubt he will be as good as celebrini and half a dozen defencemen have the potential to be number ones? Catton has less physicsl tools but has far higher iq. Demidov could be an out and out star? Lindstrom has better physical tools and maybe the best shot in the draft beside eiserman.
Doubt it. Will he be a top line wing? probably? but this top ten is being undervalued a lot.
I think at this point since Ottawa and Montreal won’t likely catch us, I’d rather see Montreal lose out and Ottawa pass them. Montreal at 5 could very well take someone ahead of Tij. At 6 I don’t think Ottawa takes him

Unlikely, Ottawa has the tougher last 3 games. Though the Sens did beat Tampa tonight so who knows...
Ya I doubt it will matter. With the game in hand and up a point, I think the flames will stay right where they are. But I would just rather see Montreal pick ahead of Ottawa
Kelowna getting absolutely clowned by PG probably tempers the recent hype substantially if he can't bring them back into the series
I don't see how his team running into a powerhouse in the playoffs and getting beaten handily (which is a surprise to no one) would have a negative effect on Tij or his draft status.
He can't beat a team like that on his own. They are absolutely stacked.

The same way him scoring 8 goals against a JV defence rocketed him up some lists and had people declaring him a potential top 5 pick
Now the Flames are pickin 9th and Lindstrom and Catton are likely to be gone, Iginla becomes a viable option for the Flames unless they really like some of the defensemen that will be available at 9. Then again for all we know the Flames really like Helenius.
If Iginla is there, they're taking him. Sort of an unenviable situation to be in.
I don't know about that. Everyone expected Conroy to announce Love as the head coach and he hired a guy that was really not expected to be a factor in the coaching race. Seems like he's following his vision and I don't think that he's going to let the Iginla relationship factor into the player he takes and I don't think scouts that have worked all year are going to just cross off the guys they scouted and loved because one of the other prospects last name is Iginla. The reality here is that if Tig had a different surname, we aren't even discussing him as a possibility at 9 as winger isn't an organization need so that will factor in with the decision making.
I think he looks like a solid prospect and wouldn't be upset if the Flames take him but I don't think it's a sure thing by any means.
