Not shocking. I think his season was superior to Nylander myself, but nothe shocking given the team Nylander is on

Three Leafs in the top 6. Leafs really have nailed the last three drafts.

Was Murray actually that good in reg season? I'd say the cup win last year fetched some votes, Marner and Nylander should be 4 & 5 respectively imo, not that it even matters but my 2 cents.

Yes he was very good. Flames fans would kill for a goaltender with a .920 SV% let alone .923.

They had as hard of a time nailing last years draft as Edmonton did in 2015.

I'm a huge Tkachuk fan but I don't know how anybody could have him ahead of Matthews, Laine, Werenski

He's slightly ahead of Werenski for me. Matthew is a special player.

Crazy to look at the season Laine had, yet he only got like 2% of the first place votes. Points per game was actually higher than Matthews.

Tkachuk didn't make the NHL All-rookie team:

Which is good for the Flames cap situation, would have had to pay out more bonus overages if he made the team.
