I stopped a shoplifter when I worked at Jersey city once. Had to chase him down too.

Didn't get anything for it.

That was dumb.

My 80 year old mother prefers to punch in a pin# when buying gas. She also buys stuff online and uses her credit card for the vast majority of her purchases. By doing this she has a record each month of what she spent her money on.

CPS has video up on their FB page, but I have no idea how to embed that here.

I wonder if the cops were able to get finger prints off of the pump (nozzle handle, button to select the grade, etc). Id be surprised that guy wouldn't have ever been in the system before if they're stealing cars and then cruising around stealing gas and then willing to run someone over to get out of there.

This goes from bad to worse, the victim may not live according to the husband. The suspect looks rather young and he has ruined many lives over a stolen truck and a tank of gas. A very sad news.

That's a really clear shot of the loser. I bet he gets arrested tonight, if he is still in town.

They missed a very unique detail. The truck is a diesel. That truck/color/configuration combo, especially being a super cab, instead of a crew cab will not be hard to spot.

More evidence to my theory that any human that wears white sunglasses, and drives a pick up truck is inherently likely an evil sociopath at worst, massive loser at best.

I hope she is able to pull through. What a sad story.

Also interesting note at the end of the article that Centex didn't bother to contact OHS. They're getting involved because they heard about the story in the media. Not contacting OHS and blaming the province for not implementing mandatory pay before pumping legislation. Plus perhaps threatening employees with having to pay for gas and runs. Centex is looking fairly slimy in all this.

Watch the video again. It is a crew cab. White sunglass dbag isnt the driver. He got out of the passenger side, walked around the back of the truck to fill it. Jumped in the back seat and then the truck took off.

This story makes me sick... victim was obviously an intelligent person (engineer) and was probably very dedicated to a menial job that she took to support her family. Meanwhile, these two pieces of garbage are out joyriding and will probably end up destroying a young family. Hope they get caught and that justice is served

It's probably not as easy for an Iranian woman to become an engineer. And they came to this country to work hard for a better live for their family. This is what the Canadian dream is all about. Instead, their lives were ruined by these two home grown POS whom I hope will get caught soon before they ruine more lives.

Good job, CPS, they've located the stolen truck. Would the two POS be far behind?

Wow what a d-bag. Looks young but I hope he's 18 and is tried as an adult so that they throw the book at him. Wishful thinking.

I've heard about that happening to people before but luckily for me I was working with someone else at the time. I did get crap from the security guard for performing an illegal search, which is true, but even though I didn't know what an illegal search was at that time I was certain that he stole it as the customer saw him do it and the jersey was missing (only Crosby jersey we had. We didn't carry many crested jerseys for teams other than the Flames) so I was safe
