The Biden administration in recent days quietly authorized the transfer of billions of dollars in bombs and fighter jets to Israel despite Washington’s concerns about an anticipated military offensive in southern Gaza that could threaten the lives of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian civilians.
The new arms packages include more than 1,800 MK84 2,000-pound bombs and 500 MK82 500-pound bombs, according to Pentagon and State Department officials familiar with the matter. The 2,000-pound bombs have been linked to previous mass-casualty events throughout Israel’s military campaign in Gaza. These officials, like some others, spoke to The Washington Post on the condition of anonymity because recent authorizations have not been disclosed publicly.
The development underscores that while rifts have emerged between the United States and Israel over the war’s conduct, the Biden administration views weapons transfers as off-limits when considering how to influence the actions of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

And here we were told Canada is starting something with stopping our weapon sales.

I mean if you really think about it, those 2,000lb bomb sales should be fairly easy to stop, even if the US still wants to provide Israel with weapons in general. What purpose do they serve?
No? Anyone? I thought Canada was protesting this. Sad.

You can read it here if you’d prefer:

Not sure if the Jerusalem Post, CNN, or the IDF itself have an anti-Israel bias, but IDK maybe they do.

1. Terrible source that isn't from western media, that are the only sources that can be trusted!1!
*shares same story, but from one of their sources*
2. Do you condemn Hamas? If they release the hostages, then the starving of the Palestinian population will stop! It's not Israel's fault that these people are starving, it's Hamas!
But more likely, now that a source from their side was shared, they'll disappear for a bit and then not speak of this again, similar to the poster that shared that proof must obviously be overwhelming for Canada to stop funding the UNRWA, only to see Canada go back and re-commit to funding UNRWA when Israel failed to provide proof (still hasn't done so and will be forgotten now) and then just completely ignore all questions asked to them to address their original post lol.

Reading comprehension fail, people falling for Hamas garbage accusations because it fits their "Israel is a colonial oppressor" narrative.
From the very JPOST article that you tried to use to "prove" that you're right:
Quote:
CNN could not confirm if the two shots were of the same people and whether they were in the exact location, but Al Jazeera claims that it shows the same event.
Al Jazeera also accused the Israeli soldiers of trying to cover up the "executions."
CNN was able to confirm that the first shot had occurred near Al Rashid Street in central Gaza, using visual evidence, including satellite imagery and videos. They also confirmed that Israeli engineering vehicles had been deployed to that area at the time.
The IDF told CNN that the edited video "represents two different incidents."
"The first incident occurred in the southern part of the corridor. After the suspect did not respond to a warning shot, the (force) fired in his direction, and he was shot and slightly wounded."
The IDF denied that the second shot was the same event, saying that it had occurred in the northern part of the Strip,

How about we just assume that whatever Hamas says happened didn't actually happen? Should be the default position for everyone on here, with half a brain.
Also, sometimes #### happens too, Israeli forces are definitely not angels, nor are they without fault. However, it's been well documented that Hamas and PIJ fighters have been using illegal and immoral tactics like pretending to waive a white flag or playing the recorded voices of hostages to lure IDF troops to certain areas for ambush.

Sorry, “prove” I’m right about what?
I shared an article where the IDF confirms the event(s) happened because you were whining about Al Jazeera. It’s also based on video, not based on something Hamas said, so maybe you should take it easy on “reading comprehension” shots since you historically haven’t really been a star pupil in that area and certainly embarrassed yourself here.
It’s OK not to flail your arms around and move the goalposts because you tried to take an easy shot and came out looking stupid. You can just admit you were wrong.

I’d say this public show of a lack of reading ability is funny were it not for the fact that it’s literally trying to gloss over intentional murder carried out by a government entity… and all of that done just so your conformation bias doesn’t get its feelings hurt.

Naw we should believe the shining example of democracy and humanity that is Israel.
Not like it was on video or anything as have been countless other intentional murders by Israel.
Remember the 3 Israeli hostages that were shot dead by Israel while waiving white flags? Do you remember that? Or do you want a non aljazeera link for you to believe that?

It's very telling that the pro-Israel crowd does not argue in good faith. They continually disappear and then reappear after not answering any questions with one liners and deflection.
Why do you need a source other than Aljazeera when it's on video? And IDF have admitted to it.
When the 3 Israeli hostages were killed unarmed by Israel while waiving a white flag that should be all you need to know what happenes with Palestinian civilians every single day.

Be curious to see these well documented independent accounts.
I mean who in their right mind would wave a white flag in front of those clearly unhinged psychopaths.
And yes. No one is questioning Hamas’s morals but let's not pretend Israel is any better.
They're both terrorist lowlife pos. Very similar to each other.

Ahhh Azure. The CP general privy to secret intelligence.
Can confirm that the evidence against UNRWA is "overwhelming" but chooses not to share it with the rest of us.
Has top level intelligence that it is indeed Hamas, not Israel that is blocking the flow of aid at the border.
Again decides not to share this clearly special and privileged information with the rest of us.

What Azure is privy to, I’m not sure I would label it “intelligence.”
