I doubt it. Doughty played it up a lot. Doughty will be back in the 2nd period. Don't expect any discipline.

And for anyone saying he will be suspended give your head a shake. It's a 2 minute elbow, that's all.

I agree Tkachuk had his back to Doughty and it was more a move to fend him off than a targeted elbow to the head.

Suck on that big nasty elbow Doughty.
But yeah. Bet he gets a game. Not a great play kid.

Brouwer/engelland/bartkowski on the ice at the same time is just putting it on a plate for the other team
I don't like tkachuk's elbow

At least if he's gonna do that crap (which I don't support) he could save it for Keith or Seabrook.

Chucky will probably get a suspension for that, if only because of who it was against.

Even if that were true (which it's not, it's 100% exaggerated as usual which is all you're capable of).... calling him a "no heart bum" is atrocious.
You are beyond brutal.

That will get no supplemental discipline. This is the NHL after all.

Yes that was dirty.
And the Flames have needed more dirt and fire.

Don't think that was suspension-worthy

I think there is a decent chance it wasnt intentional. Still looks bad though. Not something to cheer for..
I love the kids game but he needs to cut things like that out. It was a big criticism of his in junior.

I love what tkachuck brings, and I love that he battles, but that was pretty crappy. If he wants to throw that counter hit, fine, but you can't throw the elbow like that. I could see that resulting in a suspension.

Brouwer's job on that goal is actually to stop the point man breaking in from the point, nit manage Kopitar.
He tried to go to him once he broke free, but someone else list their man first.

Kings @ Flames
John Shannon thinks that the Flames org. was "nervous" coming in to this game. That's dumb.

I thought lazar looked fine too. Bennetts looks a lot better away from Brouwer
