With the win last game against San Jose, the red snake is now 3.049 points below the black line. The red snake remains 3 points below the green snake, and 4 points above the purple snake. A win tonight would allow the red snake to keep pace with green, and stretch the gap from purple.
Tonight is game #13 this year. With a win, the Flames would have 13 points on the season. Johnny Gaudreau wears #13. I feel a big night for Gaudreau tonight.

The game day snake dropped to 5-2-0. I have never posted a game day snake when playing in Anaheim. The Flames haven't won in Anaheim in forever. It's time to change both of those today.
The red snake is 4.220 points below the black line. It is 5 points below the green snake and 4 points above the purple snake. The green snake was above the black snake after games 13-30. The red snake has yet to be above this mark. Including tonight's game, it would take 6 straight wins to get above the black line for the first time this season.

It has been a dreadful last six games for the red snake. After getting to within 1.537 point of the black line after game 9, the Flames have gone 1-5-0 recently. They are now tied with the purple snake, and 7 points below the green snake.
The red snake is currently on pace for 60 points. In order to get to 96 points they need to acquire 85 points in the remaining 67 games. That's an average of 1.27 PPG, or a 63.4 winning percentage. The green snake acquired 61 points in the last 48 games, for a 1.27 PPG average. The Flames would need to match that output, but do it over 19 more games. It would take 8 straight wins to get the red snake above the black line. It would still be 1 point below the green snake if that happens.

The division is bad right now but the Flames are terrible. Twice as many losses than wins and barring a major winning streak it's getting close to time for draft talk.
