I still haven't seen the Flames Nucks highlights yet. I tried to navigate the new site on my phone and gave up after 20 minutes. I could however get to the box score easily and found some videos from the All Star Games.
Come on NHL.com, showing me Flames highlights is your one job!

Gives you 2 options for game highlights. Standard is 2:03 long and extended is 6:38 long.

I'm amazed you found the box score, because trying to find the box score of an in-progress game is a hot mess.
I have no idea how they managed to make the site worse than it used to be, but they pulled it off.

On the Standings page, I was unable to locate the ability to change the date (to see the standings on any given date).
Does anyone know if this is still possible (and I was just not finding it)?
Oh, and put me down for hating it (I access with my laptop or monitor usually)

Thanks, I finally caught the highlights. The first two goals and the Ferland close call were awesome!

I was just perusing some player profiles on the new site and found something kind of funny but stupid.
https://www.nhl.com/player - I typed in Sean's name so it could take me to his profile, a bar pops up auto-filling for the player and they list his status as a Veteran. Same with Gaudreau. Then I typed it in for Dylan Larkin and they list him as a rookie. So everyone who isn't a first-year player or retired is apparently a "veteran".

It's always been that way. A Rookie has a very specific definition when it comes to Calder Trophy eligibility. Any player who isn't a Rookie is a Veteran.
Draisaitl isn't a rookie even though he played half the season in junior last season. Sam and Griffin Reinhart are both considered rookies this season because neither played enough NHL games last season to reach veteran status.
Derek Grant has been playing professionally since 2011, but he's still considered an NHL rookie.

Wow, I actually never knew that. Usually when I think of vets I think of players who have played at least four to five seasons.
Still, doesn't make the layout of the new site any less awful.

This site should help you out. It is definitely a lot easier to navigate. http://scores.nbcsports.com/nhl/scoreboard.asp

Well, yeah. There are literally a hundred places I can find the box score. The point was that NHL.com has taken user hostility to new levels.

Couldn't get my GameCenter to load at all last night on my PC. Media errors galore. Seriously hadn't had an issue with it before or after the update until last night.
Had to watch on my ipad.

I was looking at player stats earlier trying to see where Phaneuf ranked amongst NHL D-men in various categories. Set it to Defencemen, the first page shows 50 defencemen. Click to page 2, all of the positions start showing up. Played around a few times but still couldn't get it to work right.
Edit: just tried it again and it's working now. Still clunky and lame that it was glitching before.

I need to bump this thread to say:
The new site continues to suck so damn bad, it bottles the mind.
I must admit the new NHL.tv is better on console, but the site is just brutallllllllll. I was so used to finding things easily on the old site, but this new one is just horrible.
It's actually amazing how bad it is and how the NHL continues to fall flat on it's face with change after change.

Does anyone know how to get continuous highlights on GCL (i.e. the whole highlight package only having to push "play" once rather than individual highlights)?
And does the condensed game still exist?

Exposé on terrible NHL.tv
Edit: looks like there is speculation whether this guy is legit or not. Seems interesting nonetheless.
