No they do not. Watch a Blackhawks game. Then go and watch a Blackhawks game in the Conference finals from last season.

Right now they are ticking along at somewhere between a 4 or 5 out of 10. Sometimes they kick it up a notch to maybe a 6 or 7.

I think the only time I have seen the Chicago Blackhawks at close to full intensity was the series against the Kings.

That series, in my opinion, is in the conversation for the best hockey ever played.

I am a begrudging admirer of the Chicago Blackhawks because they are just that damned good.

Its also why I'm happy the Flames are where they are in the rebuild because at the moment all roads to the Cup go through Chicago and we're not at that level yet.

Because it's so subjective, a $10.00 donation to charity of the losers choice.

Another angle on this is that a guy wearing an "A" shouldn't be showing up to practice 15 minutes before hitting the ice and an hour after the video session started.

Perhaps Bouma was the surrogate for Monahan in the humiliation department.

Maybe a 21 year old shouldn't be wearing an 'A' to begin with.

Yeah I'm not going to dump on a couple of young guys being hung over for practice in the middle of an 82 game season providing this is a scarcely occurring incident. However the optics isn't good when one of the players wears a letter on their jersey.

And is in the middle of contract negotiations.

I think he's referring to when Monahan and/or Gaudreau missed practice with "flu-like symptoms", and then a few pics surfaced from a concert they were at the night before.

I know what he's referring to, but I hate when pure fan speculation gets posted as fact.
