I'm asking myself why I still care. Can't hope for a loss, can't muster the enthusiasm to cheer.

So, guaranteed win night.

What? Oh, fan appreciation night.

And fans wanting for a loss?

Difficult to compute. Makes sense and doesn't make sense all at the same time. Clearly this franchise is at the crossroads.

Same old fan appreciation night stuff? Big guaranteed 50/50? Jersey off our backs? Isn't it usually much later in the season (last game last year IIRC)? Read anything into it being the week before TDD?

As much as I like the St. Louis trade history I would way rather (for Jarome's sake) see a trade while driving through Chicago. No way he doesn't get his cup on that team.
*I say that without looking at the trade bait from the other sides

If we lose tonight, this could be the last game that we've seen Iggy in a Flames jersey. Try to grasp that reality.

if the Flames manage to win, you know the cry will go out - "Only 4 points out from 8th!"

5-3 Blues

The pain continues with another lacklustre effort, as the team's confidence is at an all-time low.

Flames will meltdown at some point, and allow 3 or 4 against as per usual.
6-1 Blues.

Sigh. This is such a depressing thread. Well I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that due to recent embarrassments the Flames come out like Leonidas and the 300 and stomp the Blues into a paste.

4-1 Flames.

Wonder who gets the start... any other team without the loyalty factor and the starter rides pine with Kippers last two starts.

Mostly I'm interested to see if Feaster shows his face during the intermissions/pre-game.

The Blues are one of the hardest matchups for a team like Calgary. It's almost funny that they have to face them in their current situation. You're playing to show that you still have your pride and your opponent is a team that will push you around if they're at all on their game. Life is hard.

@RogMillions: Hartley also adds...#Flames "are in trouble" if they. Don't win a number in a row...."They can plan for something else". #can'timagine

I'm imagining roger.

Well structured team like the Blues always cause problems for the Flames.

I will never lower myself to Oilers level by cheering for a loss. That said as usual this season I won't be at all disappointed with a loss. I'm so indifferent about the Flames this season the only thing that will spark any emotion in me is when Iggy is finally dealt.

Even on the second half of back to back games this should be pretty easy for the Blues.
